As part of a comprehensive recruitment optimization project, I developed an intelligent chatbot capable of automating candidate selection based on job descriptions. The project included setting up the dataset, fine-tuning a language model, and integrating it into a chatbot system. Below are the key steps of the project:
- Set up the dataset by implementing a web scraping system to extract job positions and candidate profiles from LinkedIn. Additional data sources included resumes and the Kaggle dataset.
- Prepared and cleaned the collected data to ensure it was structured and usable for model training.
- Stored the data in a secure NoSQL database to enable efficient access and management.
- Fine-tuned a pre-trained BERT language model on the prepared dataset to achieve robust performance on recruitment-related tasks.
- Developed a chatbot that utilized the fine-tuned model and database to automatically select the most suitable candidate profiles for specific job positions.
